Jacob prepared catered a Halloween cocktail party at my home for about 15 adults and 15 kids. He prepared heavy hors d'oeuvres for the adults and mac and cheese and sweet potato fritters for the kids. Also beautiful halloween cupcakes. People loved the food. And my friends are FOODIES! He definitely impressed. He is also easy to work with, friendly, and reliable. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I had a surprise birthday dinner for my husband and another couple at our house last night. This is the first time I had a chef cook in out home - what a truly delightful experience. From the initial communication, Jacob was thorough, professional, and extremely talented. He also suggessted the wines for our meal - perfect! From the appetizer, salad, entree, sides to the dessert - nothing was missed or lacking. Jacob has a true sense of how to make a special evening truly fabulous. He was on time, professional, and personable - I can not say enough nice things about him and his expertise. If you are looking to hire someone who is qualified and will make your event truly memorable - hire Jacob - you willl not be disappointed.

To say that Chef Jacob exceeded our expectations is an understatement. Every detail, from the planning to the event, was completely wonderful! From my first conversation with him, I could immediately sense how professional and passionate Chef Jacob was about his work. Although I didn’t have many specifics in mind, he ensured that every detail I requested was accounted for. I asked Chef Jacob to make the 45th anniversary dinner for my parents a truly special experience, and he delivered. It was indeed so wonderful that my parents couldn’t even talk about it without crying in sharing their total amazement with the experience. They described it as one of the best experiences of their lifetime. I consider my parents some of the most excellent cooks I know, but they insisted that the meal Chef Jacob prepared was the best they’ve ever had, and that it was better than any restaurant they could have chosen. Chef Jacob helped me design a delicious menu for my parents’ dinner, and tailored it based on the information I provided regarding their overall tastes and likes. The menu included an appetizer, salad, dinner, and dessert, and every part of the meal was prepared from scratch. Beyond the care taken in preparing and cooking the meal, however, was Chef Jacob’s warm and welcoming personality. He did not hesitate to immediately begin getting to know my parents, and as they put it, they felt as though he was someone they had known for years. Chef Jacob even made sure to take pictures of them sharing their champagne toast. He did not rest until the entire meal was finished, and left the kitchen more spotless than when he arrived. At the end of the meal, he presented my parents with a gift basket, filled with edible and decorative delights, something that was planned all on his own and was a complete surprise to both me and my parents. From beginning to end, and every detail in between, Chef Jacob created an experience of a lifetime.

Chef Jacob and his team catered my daughter's graduation party this past Sunday. They did a fabulous job from start to finish. Jacob cooked everything fresh right there in my kitchen. His staff kept the food stocked on the tables and everybody commented on how delicious everything tasted. The egg plant parm was a huge success as was the chicken. Jacob also made the cake. We are not big cake eaters but this cake was fluffy and not overly sweet. It is just about gone. Once dinner was over, the team packed up all of the leftovers for me and restored my kitchen to its pre party state. That was really nice. Also, Jacob brought a gift basket and a card for my daughter, who he had never met before Sunday. That was a sweet gesture and we appreciated it. I can highly recommend Chef Jacob and Fixated Food Catering.
