FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up as a little girl always trying to get my hands on makeup to give people makeovers. I would sit in front of the mirror for hours just to self-teach myself how to do a hair style. Through the years my love of makeup and hair just continued to progress. Instead of spending my time watching the usual reality shows on tv, I found myself watching every "how to video" there was on YouTube. Finally I decided to take the leap of faith and just enroll myself into a Makeup Academy. Once I did I was instantly hooked and have been working in the industry ever since.

- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How crucial it is to hire a true professional. The price tag of a professional may be a little more expensive, but that's for a reason. It's because we are using a higher quality of makeup, and because we are typically more experienced. An amateur may be cheaper, but the price you will pay for skimping will be far worse than just dishing out the extra money up front. I've seen it happen hundreds of times. Brides spend so much money on their dress, photographer, videographer, decor, venue, food etc. and then skimp on the hair and makeup department. The end resulted in their photos and videos being hidden instead of proudly displayed. It's resulted in regret. And most importantly it can result in you not feeling your 110% best on your special day!!
