FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price based on the complexity of your books, number of accounts, and monthly transaction volume—not inflated packages or hidden fees. Most clients fall into a simple monthly rate. I also offer discounts for long-term clients and businesses that come in with clean records. If you’re unsure where you fall, I can review your books and give you a clear, upfront quote with no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick discovery call to understand your business, current bookkeeping setup, and goals. Next, I review your existing QuickBooks file (or help you set one up) and identify any cleanup needs. Once things are organized, I build a monthly process for reconciliations, reporting, and communication. You’ll always know exactly where your numbers stand and what’s coming next.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Finance and an MBA. I spent 15 years as a corporate accountant for large corporations, working in environments where accuracy, compliance, and financial clarity were essential. I’m trained in GAAP principles, advanced Excel, financial reporting, month-end close processes, and internal controls. I’ve also owned and operated my own plumbing construction company, giving me real-world experience with job costing, payroll, materials, invoicing, and subcontractor management.
