FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a 10% discount exclusively for Thumbtack customers. We believe in honest, transparent pricing. The cost of basement waterproofing or foundation repair can vary based on factors such as the size of the home, the type of foundation, and the specific repair or waterproofing solution required. Every home is different, so we provide detailed inspections and customized solutions rather than "one size fits" all pricing. After evaluating the issue, we clearly explain the recommended repairs, available options, and total cost. NO HIDDEN FEES OR PRESSURE.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process typically begins with a phone consultation, where we discuss the issues you’ve noticed; such as water intrusion, foundation cracks, or damp basement conditions, and determine whether we’re a good fit to help. If so, we schedule a free, in-home inspection for homeowners. Our inspections are very thorough and focus on identifying the true cause of the problem, not just the visible symptoms. This includes evaluating the foundation type, drainage conditions, and common Ohio factors such as clay heavy soils, hydrostatic pressure, and exterior water management. After the inspection, we explain our findings in clear terms, review recommended repair or waterproofing options, and answer any questions you may have. Our goal is to provide honest guidance and practical solutions so you can make an informed decision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings over 60 years of combined experience in basement waterproofing and foundation repair. Throughout that time, we’ve worked with a wide range of foundation types commonly found in Ohio homes, including poured concrete, concrete block, stone, and brick foundations. Our experience allows us to accurately diagnose issues caused by factors such as clay heavy soils, poor drainage, hydrostatic pressure, and Ohio’s freeze/thaw cycles. We stay up to date on proven waterproofing and foundation repair methods, and we use professionally engineered systems and materials designed to provide long-term, cost-effective solutions. Rather than relying on temporary fixes, we focus on addressing the underlying cause of basement and foundation problems so homeowners receive efficient, durable results they can trust.
