FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will work with you and be fair. Typically, my baseline is $40 per job per hour. Any materials or equipment needed to complete the job will be reimbursed by the customer. if you have a large number of jobs, or are a repeat customer, the prices may be discounted.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will communicate with you to get more details if needed and do a final estimate for a quote. I may come to the job site if more information is needed to quote. Once a price is agreed upon, I ask for 50% upfront and 50% after job completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a college educated mechanical engineer with a lot of volunteer experience in the church helping with various projects. I am a DIYer at home but never start a project until I know exactly what I am doing. I know and can consult HVAC technicians, electrical technicians, and carpenters. I also have done various woodworking projects.
