Joy was my make-up artist when I got married in 2010, and she was so incredible!! She did a trial run so that I could tweak the look if needed, making sure I was 110% comfortable with my wedding day look. She did the trial run the same day as my bachelorette party, so I went to my party looking like a supermodel! (Yes, she's that good!) The day of my wedding she was on time, prepared, and brought a great attitude along with her. While doing my makeup, she turned on my choice of music and did a great job keeping me peaceful and relaxed (which is a tough job hours before a wedding!). My wedding look was PHENOMENAL and everyone was blown away. I was so stunned with how I looked and I have honestly never felt more beautiful in my life. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Joy's make-up services!!!

I can't say enough good things about Joy. I initially contacted her for a consult for my wedding last October. I was thrilled with the preview and booked her for the big day. Most of my bridesmaids were set on doing their own make up -- until they saw me after Joy was finished. She ended up doing everyone all five of us. None of us were inexperienced with applying make up and we were a pretty party anyway without make up (if I may say so myself), but after Joy we looked like we could have shot A Vogue cover. I have since used Joy as my make up artist for a black tie event and a totally different look. Again - the results were stunning. I should also mention that the results lasted the entire day and evening. I only had to reapply lipstick. I will definitely be calling Joy again. I only wish I could look that good every day!!

Joy has done my makeup for every high school dance and special occasion and I couldn't be more satisfied. She really enhances all of my features and makes me feel absolutely beautiful. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$225 covers up to 4. Each additional over 4 is $50 pp. Includes airbrush and lashes if desired.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make sure I have your date available, then I will email you a contract to look over. Once you have reviewed the contract, fill it out and return it with a $50 non refundable deposit and your date will be held.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained and traveled under/with a NYC makeup artist, Lori Hogg. She is the best !
