- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. Butcher Elder Law uses a flat fee system so the client can receive the best service customized to their needs. Butcher Elder Law will never click a timer when you call.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For estate planning matters, an individual and their family may attend a Free Workshop to learn more about the basics of estate planning. After attending a Workshop, the individual would meet one on one with an attorney where they would be presented with a variety of plan options based on their goals and values. Clients interested in Medicaid assistance will have an immediate one on one meeting with an attorney.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Samuel V. Butcher is an esteemed elder law attorney in Northeast Ohio. Sam started his lifelong service to the public through his work as a registered pharmacist. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University and continues to keep his pharmacy credential active with the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy. He has extensive knowledge of medical illnesses, conditions, and diseases, as well as, prescription and non-prescription medications. Sam, while practicing pharmacy, was further motivated to study law at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law of Cleveland State University, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. He was subsequently admitted to the bar in Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
