Services include the following:
* Dog walk (up to four miles): $8-$20 per dog
* Dog run (up to eight miles): $15-$30 per dog
* Doggy adventure! (up to three hours): $20-$35 per dog
* Dog sitting (includes "doggy adventure" package for free): $20-$50 per day (price increases for every two dogs)
Behavioral consultation/training:
Does your dog cause problems for you or your family? Perhaps the dog pulls on the leash or runs out the door whenever you open it. Maybe your dog barks constantly at neighbors or vehicles. We will diagnose and make suggestions for any problems within the household for free after you purchase any of our services.
Dog walk: The classic route. A good old-fashioned walk. Dogs were born to travel from point A to point B in nature. Lack of regular walks is the number one cause of distress in a dogs life. Let your dog experience what they were born to do by hiring us to walk him/her. Pricing is negotiable (starting at $8 for one mile), and we will walk up to four miles distance. Recommended for low-to-medium-energy-level dogs.
Dog run: Some dogs (our pit bull/terrier mix 'Kylee', for example) need more than a walk. Over the years, the process of selective breeding has created dogs who display almost infinite amounts of energy. Kylee can easily run/jog eight miles in a single day, and then play fetch for an hour. Do you have a high-energy dog? We will run him/her from one mile up to eight miles, depending on what you choose. We only choose safe paths at parks or neighborhood sidewalks. We use roller blades and bikes, and we are very experienced. Please see the videos on the home page for a reference. Recommended for medium to high-energy level dogs.
Doggy adventure: Exercise is one thing. But for a dog to truly be happy, they need a psychological challenge as well. A human example: Jogging on a treadmill can get the job done, but being outside in nature is more of a mental workout. All of the visual stimuli, smells, and sounds exercise your brain. Have you ever felt exhausted just from studying? Mental exercise can be just as important as physical exercise for humans and for dogs. A "doggy adventure" combines all aspects of a dogs life into one adventure for your dog! Suggest activities that your dog enjoys, and we will help make them happen! For example, if your dog loves to swim, we will take him/her to a dog-friendly swimming area. We will also run them sufficiently and partake in other activities as well (like fetching/digging/racing/hide-and-seek).
Dog sitting: If you're like us, you don't want to leave your dog at a kennel or with somebody who isn't fully committed to the responsibility of watching your dog. But we don't want our dog stuck in the house all day either! If you hire us, we will come to your house and not just take care of your dog, but give them a free* doggy adventure! That way they can spend a few hours each day getting the exercise they need. We can feed them and accommodate other requests like administering medicine.
