Introduction: I've been told that I'm a perfectionist, and I don't have to do it that good, but if I wash a window and when it's done and I still see fly poop, I'll rewash the entire window! I wouldn't want to leave it! I do jobs with the mindset that I want to always have a feeling that when I leave your house, there is no way it could have been done any better! I've always like working with people, I feel good when I can help make someone's life or home a little better! I love to get the windows to look like they aren't even there!

We purchased a home in Willard about 3 weeks ago, and it quickly became obvious that most handymen wouldn't dare take the drive "All The Way Out To Willard".... But I have a 5000sf house with many pojects needed done and the first job was to install a Garage door opener, in our garage with 12 foot ceilings, Oh, and did I mention that their was no hardwear of any kind left from the previous owners except the garage door springs that were a complete mess, the door barely raised at all by hand. Then I got a response from thumbtack.com recommending" Dan The Man"... and boy was I happy to find someone! Dan was super easy to correspond with, not knowing exactly what this job would entail he came prepared to do the work that day if we were happy with his quote. Ecstatic was more the word for his quote and Dan got right to work! Before we knew it he had the springs fixed and started on installing the opener. He apologized but couldn't finish that day because of a part WE FORGOT to buy, completely our fault, but Dan had no problem picking up the part and coming back the next morning to finish the job. And remember, this was all done on 12 foot ceilings, definitely not a easy task. Before I knew it I had a smooth running garage door opener with absolutely perfect performance. Dan definitely is "The Man" and I will be using him for plenty more jobs that need to be done around our house. Dan's workmanship is second to none and his pricing is extremely fair, something I'm find hard to find these days, but no longer, as I have found my handyman. As long as Dan's working, I'll be hiring him. I HIGHLY recommend "Dan the Man"!

Dan is still working with me on a project, but he has been incredible helpful so far. He has taken time to drive to Amish country to find materials for me as well as offered to drive them to me. Also, he has been incredibly responsive - both on text and with phone calls. I would highly recommend him based on my experience so far.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It varys on the work! Sometimes it's hourly and some to the job like window cleaning I'm more than happy to give you a bid !
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work pretty much just through Tumbtack it's a great medium for this type of work,I'm not in the phone book! I get jobs thru word of mouth and this site only! I've never advertised in anyway! All my work in California was referrals! Your name gets around good or bad so I'm always respectful and appreciate my customers!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I try to learn something everyday I'm smart enough to know there is always someone out there that knows a little more about things than you do! All you have to do is keep your mind open, ears open, and mouth shut, and thank them for the help!
