Will definitely be returning. Lisa’s attention to detail, warmth, and compassion made this such a refreshing experience, AND it helped alleviate a lot of pain even after the first visit!! I am in shock with the mobility she was able to give me back in my shoulder; this is something I haven’t had in years! If you are someone like me who has a hard time trusting others...especially when it comes to your ailments and injuries, don’t hesitate to book with Lisa. Pull the trigger and book an appointment, you will not be disappointed! Her expertise and passion for the field is very evident. She belongs in this field of work without a doubt. Her service and empathetic care is well worth every penny. Thank you Lisa :)Jun 4, 2020Verified

Lisa explained to me what she was doing and why. She asked alot of questions about my history and symptoms. I felt she was treating me individually not as part of a routine used for every patient. I highly recommend her.May 5, 2020VerifiedDesign Your Health's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Each session is $90 including the initial session. Typically there is a higher cost for the evaluation; however, I am including the evaluation in the first session with no change in pricing. The initial evaluation will begin the problem solving process on how to relieve the pain. This initial session also includes a treatment and a typed evaluation documenting my findings and treatment plan. This evaluation can also be sent to your physician at your request. Discounts are available if multiple sessions are purchased as a package. I am accredited with BWC (Bureau of Workman’s Comp)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The initial visit includes a thorough history of the injury and how / when the pain started occurring. The onset may be mysterious or have a clear trauma causing the injury. The length of time the pain is present and the intensity of the pain all affects what treatment strategies will be used to address the pain. Your goals and the demands you place on your body will also dictate treatment approaches. I always ensure that you as the client is comfortable and ready before anything is tried by explaining the purpose and approach as thoroughly as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelors in Sports Medicine from Baldwin Wallace College and a Masters in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. I have taken extensive continuing education including (but not limited to): Active Release Techniques, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Meditative Massage, Reiki, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Biodynamic Breathwork and various Joint Mobilization techniques. I have recently added dry needling to my bag of tricks and have had amazing success much quicker than with other modalities I have been using for almost 20 years.
