- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is always up front and direct. We do not have hidden fees. When calling to get a quote, all charges will be clearly stated. As we charge hourly, we do NOT charge extra for stairs, long carries, etc. There may be additional charges for items such as, pianos, safes, etc. Along with the hourly charges there is a one time $150.00 truck charge for up to 50 miles. This charge includes a fully equipped 24' box truck with all the pads, dollies, straps, fuel etc to complete your move. If you think of the truck as an employee, this is the money to truck makes to pay its monthly expenses i.e. fuel, insurance, maintenance, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
99% of our quotes for local moves are given out over the phone based upon the information provided by the customer. The customer pays at the completion of the job. We do come out to do an in-home inventory pricing for all long distance (out of state) moves.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the moving industry since 2004 when I was just 21 years old. I have 1,000s of moves under my belt, and I pass my knowledge along to every employee that works for me. I directly work along side them until I am confident in their abilities to live up to the standards I hold them to.
