Deck or Porch Repair

New View Construction built a beautiful deck and pergola for us in Fall 2020. They did quality work. 2020 was a crazy year and the difficulty in obtaining material delayed construction significantly. I do not blame New View for the delay. Construction materials were in short supply most of this year, because of the pandemic. We signed a contract on June 6, 2020 and the work was finally completed on October 27, 2020. The only part I wish they would have done better was advise us along the way of the delays. They told us a few times (towards the end) of the delays, but I think they might have done a better job of keeping us informed, especially in the beginning. I lost a lot of sleep, needlessly, worrying about the contract. In the end, they did everything, just as it was contracted and the results are great.

Deck or Porch Remodel or Addition

Adam went above and beyond researching, identifying, and explaining the various issues, options, as well as explaining the codes, reasons, and so much more. Deck Tech LLC and Adam will be our go-to for future decks, repairs, and modifications for as long as they’re available. Thanks again for everything!!!

Deck or Porch Remodel or Addition

New View Construction put in a brand new composite deck and a concrete pad. The quality of material for the deck is amazing! We had a bit of a snafu with the concrete pad, but they were able to resurrect it with no problems or questions asked. Our timeline was a bit off due to some unforeseen circumstances, (ie rotted wood from the old deck and damaged hand rails). Adam was onsite a lot checking on the progress and making sure everything looked good. Overall, our upgrade from the old deck to what we have now is wonderful!

Deck or Porch Remodel or Addition

With COVID materials were delayed which was very frustrating. Nothing that Adam and his crew had any control over. The end result was a great deck that we will enjoy for years to come. Very happy with the quality of materials and work!Great job by New View Construction! Will definitely use them again!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When getting multiple quotes always ask what type of material it is? who is the manufacturer? what are the warranties on the products? you can get very different prices, especially on a composite deck. often times cheaper is not better. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples not apples to oranges.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What type of material do you want, wood or composite? Do you live in in a homeowners association? Companies that do good work are often in high demand, are you willing to wait longer for your project to be completed?
