I had a rehab that I was flipping that was a 3/2 single story home with no basement or garage (minimum storage space) and what I considered as an awkward layout. It was in a nice pocket on a very quiet street but in a "C-" neighborhood so I needed to get some professional opinions and provide a different perspective to potential buyers so that we could maximize profit. We decided to interview staging companies and we ultimately chose to work with Jill and her company because of her experience, ideas and most importantly, value. Since this was our first time staging there were a lot of unknowns and sometimes its hard to justify the additional costs, especially at the end of an over-improved, over budget, past schedule project (OK, maybe you've never been there). However, Jill did not disappoint. We gave her the key and she worked her magic... and we stayed out of the way (OK, we did take a peek once in a while). It took her a few days to finalize her layout but she turned our excellent flip into a home that people could envision living in. It complemented the finishes, colors and potential buyer pool and everyone who visited the house loved it. Being a first time stager I would highly recommend Jill and her company for your staging needs. She was also able to source other items needed at a reasonable costs. We loved the staging so much that we purchased a few of the items for ourselves!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Every customer has different needs for their home and my first priority is to assess what you already own that can be repurposed to save money on the project. I am VERY thrifty and enjoy the hunt - this saves money and time for my clients.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    RE starts with a walk through of all the spaces that need to be re-designed, followed by a step-by-step plan for the project. I use inspiration photos to help my clients visualize the theme we are going for or ask for access to Pinterest if they have an account. Knowing what they like helps me bring it to life. An estimate for the project will be sent for approval before we start and 50% deposit is due at that time. The balance is due 1 week after completion.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I worked in fashion design for almost 15 years and have an eye for pulling together color, texture, and prints. My work as an real estate agent has also contributed to my knowledge on how to add value to your home.
