- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Service Call and Travel averages $150. Labor tasks (rekey, repair, install) starts at $25 Material (deadbolt, knob) starts at $50 Two keys provided - additional keys are $5. Cash discount available, if requested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a phone call to review your challenge, we set up a mutually agreed to schedule, if I feel I can address the challenge. After 50 years of doing this I know not only what I do, but more importantly what I cannot do. If I can't help you, I will refer you to another reputable locksmith. When arriving with an on-time arrival of 90% of the scheduled time, I introduce myself and get to work when shown all needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Starting locksmithing in 1976, I have worked with some of the best in the industry and have trained over 25 locksmiths. I do have an MBA which helps with running my business.
