What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically my pricing is by the job. When I send an estimate to someone everything will be itemized and I do not mark up my materials. My pricing reflects my experience, customer service, and quality of workmanship.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I contact the customer and find out what it is they are looking to get done. Second I setup a time to visit them and complete and send them an estimate. Once the scope of work and customer needs have been identified the work is performed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
