Andréa’s Occasions is a full service event planning and coordination company. I offer full planning, partial planning, and day-of coordination services. No two events are the same. You will get the same professionalism, passion, dedication, and level of service no matter the type or size of your event. My goal is to give you the event you've always dreamed of; an event that reflects your unique personality and style; an event that you and your guests will enjoy. With experience in wedding planning, baby showers, birthday parties, reunions, team building, and non-profit events, it would be my honor to plan your next special occasion. Planning an event can be stressful....but it doesn't have to be! I have a true passion for event planning. I love the excitement of the planning process, the anticipation and expectation of the end result. I love seeing the look on clients' faces when they see their ideas and visions come to life, along with the look of joy and happiness of their guests.

Andrea litterally planned my 30 year high school reunion. I no longer live in the city of my high school. Consequently, Andrea had to take on much of the planning initiative. She was very well organized, considerate of my vision for the occasion, diligent with step for implementation, and punctual. We absolutely could not have done it without her. I would definitely use her for any occassion the needs planning, organizing and coordination. Please do not hesitate to contact me as a reference for Andrea.

Andréa and her team are absolutely amazing! This was my second time working with her as my event planner. We had a very detailed christening reception for my son with a large group. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. I worry about nothing on Andréa’s watch. She shows up on time and asks all the right questions ahead of time to make sure the event goes as smoothly as possible. I look forward to working with Andréa’s Occasions again!

Our wedding day was the Best Day Ever! This was largely due to Andrea Sargent of Andrea’s Occasions being our wedding planner. From the first day we started planning our wedding with Andrea to the day of our wedding; Andrea was truly a blessing in so many ways. Her professionalism and attention to detail was amazing. Her knowledge of the wedding process was very helpful to us as she brought up important details that I had never even thought of. With Andrea being part of the WPC (Wedding Professionals of Columbus) she was able to help us with finding the perfect vendors to make our wedding day vision come true. Andrea worked very hard on our wedding day timeline. We met several times and she made many drafts of the timeline until it was perfect. One of the most important things that we wanted for our wedding day was that all of our family members be able to enjoy the day with us and not have to be involved with any of the organizing details or dealing with issues. Because of Andrea’s thoughtfulness and being so thorough the entire day went smoothly. It was a very beautiful and memorable day for us and our families. We really can’t thank Andrea and her assistants enough for all that they did to make our wedding day so special.

    I am a Certified Bridal Consultant and member of the Wedding Professionals of Columbus. I read articles and attend monthly meetings with other industry professionals to stay up on the latest news and trends in the event and wedding industry.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I was the president of my college's Student Activities Committee. While in this position, I helped plan various campus activities and events, such as parties, dinners, fundraisers, and talent shows. It was in my junior year that I decided I wanted to pursue event planning as my career.
