Hello! I love teaching the skills to be used for a lifetime! I will help you or your child patiently progress through technique and note reading. I am a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music and teach both from my home studio or travel to homes. Build confidence in note-reading and chord playing so you can play your heart out! I have many years experience teaching kids and teens piano and love watching young people enjoy the music making process. I am trained classically, but also teaching pop, movie themes and more. With multiple students for in-home lessons, discount available.

Lesson prices are a great value. Located close to our home. The studio is nice with a waiting area that is comfortable. She not only provides keyboard instruction but supplements with paper and pencil activities. She provided the girls with a notebook for homework. She does a great job of making lessons fun. The girls are now working on Halloween music. She is very encouraging during lessons. Highly recommended her studio!

Cindy was amazing with our 5 kids. She worked hard to individualize each lesson for each student. She found pieces that interested my teen boys and kept them challenged and playing. She has such a love for the kids and a love for teaching piano.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Online or in-studio lessons are both $22/30 minutes, $30/45 minutes. Lessons in your home $35+, depending on distance. Discounts available for multiple in-your-home lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One method does not fit all, so I take into consideration the learning style of each student. I teach note reading at the appropriate time, utilize hands-on activities, and teach chords and theory. The focus is on technique and musicality. Though we use a method book, I supplement with other materials as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught for 20 years, in a variety of cultures. My BMus is from The Cleveland Institute of Music, and MA in Music Education from Case Western Reserve University.
