I needed some custom cabinet work done. I had heard about Thumbtack from a friend, so I went on the site entered in my information about my project and within 30 minutes I was contact by Matt. Once we discussed the project he came over to my house and made some measurements and within a day he got back to me on a quote and timeline on when he could come start the project. The quote was very reasonable and Matt was even honest with me and told me I could get a brand new cabinet for less money. However we really wanted to keep the same flow and integrity of our kitchen and wanted this to match up with the cabinets we already have in our kitchen. So we hired Matt. He was quick with getting the job done. He was extremely professional and did an AMAZING job. Everything he did was top notch, from the initial contact to the finished product. I am very happy I found him to do my project. I couldn't be more pleased with the end results. it's hard to find a good, honest "handyman" and my husband and I felt like we found that in Matt. Not only would we use him again I would 100% recommend him to others who may be looking for custom woodwork. Below are pictures of my before and after. In a nutshell he turned my existing cabinet from shelves to pull our drawers.

I have worked with elderly people to help them regain a sense of independence by building a ramp to young family just starting their lives in their new home. I do everything from changing light bulbs to building barns.
