First it is very important to have your books in order and to keep compliant. Many accountants can help you do that. However, if you want to pay the least amount in taxes, you need a plan. Find a provider, usually a 'Certified Tax Coach' credentialed CPA, who can work with you to pay the least amount of tax and coach you through your accounting and tax issues so your records and documentation are "audit-change" proof. Having a written, documented plan from a CTC will provide peace of mind and tax savings.
