Network Engineer
I was major server support engineer for the largest school district in Cincinnati. Support duties included OS support for server-based systems as well as desktop OS. I implemented NetWare OS upgrades on over 35 servers, which included system migrations and new server installations. I converted 1,700 user Microsoft mail system to GroupWise 5.5. I managed desktop support to the end user via network management software (ManageWise). I designed automated desktop deployment strategies for a technology services organization, including network-based launcher routines using Novell's Application Launcher. Other support tasks included configuring and deploying NT Workstation OS version 4.0 to the desktop in several core departments.
