FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For my trim work i have a set square footage price that includes installing prehung doors, building closet shelves, and installing baseboards and casing, window sills, and occasionally i will throw in a little something else if i feel like it. Exterior Door installs, porch posts, windows, hardware, Crown molding, other unusual doors and fixtures i charge by the job. And other things that are more time consuming like drywall repair, painting, Extras in trim work i may charge by the hour. There are alot of variables and different situations but overall. I will be honest with myself and my customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I dont have a typical process but i focus on honesty and respect. I try to be honest with my customers to let them know exactly what it will take and the legalities i always take into consideration, and as a business owner i try to be respectful and courteous in Conversation and even disagreements if they occur.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a trim carpenter i have worked for a finish carpenter in tulsa and a trim carpenter out of oklahoma city. Though i didnot learn everything i know from them i like to try things out and use my imagination and problem solving skills to get things taken care of. The last few years a house builder has kinda taken me under his wing and taught me a number of things from his years of experience building houses. Though there are some jobs i wont tackle. I am confident that given the chance and income to problemsolve and plan through i can just about accomplish anything.
