My name is Stacey Stovall, lead behavior trainer at Buddy’s Dog School, and I have been training dogs of all ages, breeds and backgrounds for over 18 years. I have the experience, knowledge, and resources to provide the right solution to any problem. Training Made Simple. Behavior training is highly effective and very simple. Without using treats or other bribes, the dogs learn to be well mannered and obedient! Most importantly, we teach YOU, their owner, how to be the leader of the family! Using simple and effective training methods, the dogs quickly learn to repeat the wanted behavior and stop the unwanted behavior. There are a variety of training program options to provide the right solution for anyone. No matter which option you pick, you will be a major part of the training process to ensure lifelong results. You will also have access to lifelong training support, exclusive boarding for the training graduate and other dogs in the home, plus be eligible to earn other rewards anytime after you complete a training program! Stacey is an amazing trainer of dogs and people! We could see an incredible difference in our pup after the first lesson and even more so after the second. She is always available to answer questions in between lessons as well and takes her time to make sure you understand and feel comfortable.

I absolutely adore Stacey & her dog training school. She has been a life saver to us. We hired her right after we got our lab as a puppy at Christmas. She is super good at training us & our dog. She helped us survive the stage where we were second guessing our decision to get a dog. I don't know where we would be if it wasn't for Stacey! She knows a ton about dogs & I would hire her in a heartbeat if I got another puppy. In fact, we liked her so much we signed up for a second set of lessons and even told some of our friends about her :) She is super reliable, kind & very loving to our sweet dog Tinsel. I hired her off the internet after talking to a few of her references so I took a chance on her & it has worked out great. By the way...we happened to have signed up for classes at Petsmart when we got our puppy and I can tell you for sure that there is no comparison between the one on one training you get with Stacey & the group lessons at Petsmart. Well worth your money & Stacey is a great trainer!!! I love her!!!!

We hired Stacey after working with another local trainer with less than stellar results. Our two females had been getting into fights and Stacey worked with them both on being able to coexist around each other in a safe manner. We learned how to deliver well-timed praise and corrections to show our dogs what we want and what is not allowed. We learned how to read and address dog body language, as well as a few basic household management skills to set them up for success. We like that she doesn't rely on treats to teach basic obedience and manners - we just wanted our dogs to listen to us without having to bribe them constantly. Both dogs can now sit or lie down and stay there until released. No more jumping up or pushing for attention. Since they have had years to practice their bad behaviors before we started training them, they are not yet perfect but they are light years away from where they started. But more importantly, WE are more confident as handlers, and that confidence flows down the leash and into our dogs. Thank you Stacey!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is very simple and is based on the training option you choose to enroll in. Military discounts are also available! Programs are non refundable. Contact us for details on our various training options available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always start with a phone consult to cover the majority of initial questions and help you decide which training option is the best fit for you. Then we will schedule an enrollment appointment and your training program start date. We encourage you to ask any questions you have throughout the entire process so you understand why and how it all works!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 18 years experience training dogs and their humans, working with a variety of behavior problems, and competing in obedience trials at local and national levels, including a 6th place finish at a nationwide top 10 invitational. I am also a certified AKC CGC Evaluator. I have 16 years of experience training, grooming and showing multiple breeds of champion show dogs.
