I tune every piano like it's mine and I will be the one playing it. I always play the piano for several minutes when I am done tuning to ensure it WILL hold the tuning. This will also let me know when the NEXT tuning should be. May be sooner than 6 months in some cases. Piano manufacturers say every 6 months a piano should be tuned. Some do it FOUR times a year. I tune for a church that wants it done every 6 weeks! They make DVD's every Sunday and felt that if they were going to memorialize a service then EVERYTHING should be in tune! Yep!
I get to meet so many interesting people in my line of work and that alone is gratifying. I really like seeing all of these churches, homes and schools that I would have never seen otherwise. I like that I am helping with music and its intrinsic value. By the way, if you have a dog I MUST visit! I love dogs! They are my favorite people!

David is an absolute pro and was a joy to have in our home. We were immediately comfortable with him when he said, after introducing himself, that he liked it when folks sat and visited with him while he works. He's very funny so it was our treat! We didn't know much about the piano we just bought at an estate sale, David was able to give us a full history on the piano and give us a general idea of its value. Very cool. We'll have him back in 6 months to tune it again and for every tuning after that. If I could have given him more stars in the rating I would have. Plus he tunes for Harry Connick Jr. when he's in town!!! That's as cool as it gets.

He was very nice and I my neighbors wanted to use him to so I brought him over there. My neighbor was very happy with his job and said he did a better job than the person she have hired last time. David is Excellent. He took an old piano and made it sing! Plus My Dog loved him which is always a good sign.We chatted quite a bit while he worked, but the biggest boss ws hearing play beautifully as he was testing and tuning!

David is one of those people that does his job very well and has a way about him that makes you feel good. He is a very nice person to talk to and enjoy having in your home. He can even play some great tunes. I would say if you need work done on your Piano David is your man. Will use again come visit us again thank you very much.

I am already below the national average of my price so I am already 15% off and I do NOT charge for mileage.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whatever is easiest for the customer. I email, text, or voice call.
I would also like to HEAR the piano and know the brand before I get there so I'll know about how long I'll be.
After hearing the piano I can give a more firm price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a music degree in percussion. I still play percussion once in a while but piano is where it's at for me for the last 30 years or so!
