FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I always advise new boarders to look at the condition of the horses. Are they relaxed? Good weight? Shinny coats? Is the barn clean or Is there a foul smell in the barn? Are the stalls safe and large enough to prevent casting injuries? What type and amount of grain/hay is being fed? What options does the facility offer and the cost? The care of your horse is important, but you will also need to discover the "social, and the day to day activities of the barn." Each barn has its own personality. Are you a "match?" Your horse needs to be happy and so should you!
