- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, Land Surveyors are required to have continuing education hours. Also, any added license requires extensive study of the state laws and variances. - What types of customers have you worked with?
We are a high volume ALTA/ASCM provider. We specialize in commercial real estate transactions which are often multi-site and multi-state with tight deadlines. Our surveys require we can mobilize very quickly and have a rapid turn around on the product. We also need to provide surveys that are budget oriented as they are in quantity. This 'norm' for us means that individuals or single project benefit enormously from our expertise in these areas.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
RPS surveyed a huge multi state forest for a large corporation that wanted to determine the extent of its holdings. The survey required aerial photogrammety in very challenging places, some crews had to be airlifted in and out, the terrain was extremely varied and the titles and legals were extensive yet the project came in on time and in budget. We also surveyed many of the historic sites in Las Vegas up and down the strip. These complex sites required tight timing and extensive research.
