FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not. Although I have strongly considered creating packages with different prices, I feel that it short sells my clients because every client has individual needs which are completely unique and if I were to have set packages I would always not be fulfilling something which is needed or I would be including something which is not needed. So far, I have opted to stay away from doing this. That said, in order to get bids submitted on this website, one must move quickly. So prices do have to be created very quickly and provided to the project owner or else the opportunity is missed. I tend to give a price then work with the client on what exactly that includes and adjust accordingly per the discussions we have after the fact.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1 - Discuss the client's overall goals and objectives. What are they looking to accomplish. w I 2 - Review the efforts which have already been made to obtain these goals (if any) and evaluate the status of current marketing efforts. 3 - Evaluate the competition and see what we are up against. This is how I am able to gauge how much is going to need to take place in order for our work to be successful. 4 - Proposal / Contract. I have a couple methods of working out the payments but typically there is a 50% deposit up front then I have a month to month payout option available in some cases. I also have an account with Behalf, which offers business to business financing and very low interest rates. 5 - Game plan & Action with detailed steps in proposal in regards to how the process will move forward. I will have all of the necessary tools in place to evaluate progress and get your opinion on things throughout the entire process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for computer science with an empasis in Web Design and Development. Once I realized that the nature of this particular field is one which can be learned for free online, I opted to do that instead. The majority of my actual education has come from hands - on experience. I have built many websites for personal projects and for companies I have worked for in the past.
