HAVE YOU INHERITED MINERALS IN OKLAHOMA? In my 15+ years of serving clients in the oil and gas industry, I’ve encountered hundreds of people who have recently inherited minerals but don’t know how to research them, protect them, and maximize their value. Do these questions sound familiar? How do I determine if any wells have been drilled on my minerals? Why am I getting royalty checks even though I’ve never signed a lease? Am I possibly owed royalties from past production? How do I ensure I don’t miss out on future royalties? What is the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and why is it listing me on its orders? What is a pooling order and how does it affect my minerals? What is the Oklahoma Mineral Owner Registry and should I subscribe to it? Do I have to probate my deceased relative’s minerals? Or is an Affidavit of Heirship sufficient? If you are asking yourself these types of questions, I can help. I’ve developed a solution for your exact situation. Visit my website for the details. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I migrated from North Dakota to Oklahoma City in 1998 to attend Southern Nazarene University. After obtaining a B.S. in 2002, I attended Oklahoma City University School of Law, where I served on the board of editors for the law review and graduated with the highest honors in 2005. From 2006 to 2014, I worked as an in-house prospect landman for a major independent oil and gas producer. In 2014, I left the corporate world for private practice, where I serve clients in the areas of probate and oil & gas.
