Hired on Thumbtack
Yesterday I hired Halfmoon to check my screeching toilet tank. There was a mixup on Thumbtack about what time Austin would arrive but that was quickly resolved. Austin came by and checked on what I needed and explained how and why the toilet tanks needed to be replaced. He also gave me options for me to replace the faucet in the kitchen.
He also said a couple of their guys would come out in about an hour to do the repairs and install the new faucet. Then Jason and Evan arrived that afternoon to do those jobs.
Everything was done and I am happy with it. A friend asked me if Halfmoon was too expensive.
Well, I don’t know. There is no way that I know of to get bids on everything from other plumbers.
I do know these guys were extremely professional and explained exactly what each job would be and about how long it would take. Every person was polite and took time to explain what needed to be done. This is the best group of guys

Dakota Medley was the plumber Half Moon sent to my house a few days ago to fix a clogged bathroom sink. He was polite and competent. He also spent extra time checking out our plumbing system to make sure we did not have any other significant problems.
