Steven Byrd was the most awesome contractor I have ever met, The job we needed done was for a closing on a house we had for sale. He came over on a rainy evening at 7 pm to look at and quote, repairs were made within 2 days. The job was done beautifully , quickly no muss, no fuss property was left spotless. I would absolutley recommemd him for any type of masonry job you could have, many years of experience and wonderful to work with. Highly Highly Recommend!!

I have never been treated so rudely by a contractor in all of my life. I am helping my daughter, who just bought a home in OC, coordinate with a contractor that can do some masonry repairs on the garage. Since she won’t be moving in for a few weeks, we decided it was best, for security purposes, not to disclose the location of the vacant home. I requested bids from four contractors through Thumb Tack. Most of those that responded were very professional and were able to give me an estimate based on what they knew and we agreed to meet once she moved in. This was definitely not the case with Mr. Byrd! He responded with a note that just requested I call him. When I wasn’t able to get back to him right away, he sent me another nasty note accusing me of being a fake! I replied to that note and assured him I was not a scammer and again explained we weren’t living there yet but we’re looking for someone to do some work and I gave him more detail of what needed to be done as I had with the other contractors. He again replied stating that he had checked county real estate records and no one with my name owned property there and that he “seriously doubted” that I wasn’t a fake! I felt like he was stalking us! Well, Mr. Byrd, I can assure you that you won’t be getting our business and I’d caution anyone else that is considering using his services.

My house got hit by lightning and I was having trouble locating a masonry who would just be honest with me. I work in the insurance industry and it amazed me how much BS contractors were feeding me. I happened to run across this app, Thumbtack. At first, I was a little skeptical but thought, why not try it? I received two bids from two different contractors. After going through the reviews for Steven Byrd, I was sold. We communicated back and forth about the job via email/text which was easier for me with work. He was very professional and I was excited to get the job started. After I confirmed hire, he was out the next day. Drove from OKC to Broken Arrow!! He was able to match my brick from 1998 and did a fantastic job!!!!! After he left, I realized I had forgotten about a different spot and had to text him hoping he could fit me in his next schedule when in town. Guess what? He came out within that hour!!!! I would recommend him to anyone! Great communication, Great service and reasonably priced!!! What one contractor said would cost me $5200, Steve did it for $800!!! Love the work! Thank you Steve!!!!!!

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. COMPETENT. JOB LOOKS BETTER THAN I EXPECTED. WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO DO ANY MASONRY REPAIR AROUND YOUR HOME OR OFFICE.

Mr. Byrd was great! Very professional, knowledgeable, and super friendly! He did more than what we had discussed previously, and he cleaned up after himself. I will absolutely contact him if we ever need masonry work done in the future.
