I had an old window unit upstairs that the previous home owners installed. They cut a hole in the side of the house to put this thing in. I am handy-ish, but i know when i don't know stuff, so i contacted 20/20. There were a few hiccups in communication. I was prepared to dislike this guy and his work. He came in. He was nice. He went straight to work. He took out an old window unit and replaced it. I didn't just stand there and watch him do the work, but i was listening, there were opportunities to do the easy thing. Apparently, the old AC was supported by nothing except the wall, trim, caulk, and Jesus. He didn't know he'd have to do that extra, but he came prepared with a circular saw and an impact driver, not stuff you'd usually need for this job. He framed it. I heard some spray foam at some point so he sealed it. Trimmed it. The part that sold me is he ran out and got some touch up paint and made it look just as it did before. TLDR- He did a complete job, stuck to his estimate eventhough there were problems. He didn't just fix the problem, but made it look just as it did before he started.

2020 Construction does good work at a great price. They installed a new concrete paver patio for our hot tub and replaced our carpet flooring with laminate wood flooring. Additionally they installed some electrical lighting, wall decor, and built some small furniture items throughout the house. 2020 will work with clients on pricing, scheduling, and additional items that may come up while they are on site.

Austin was very prompt in getting started on my project. My house was vacant because I had recently moved and he met me at the house and worked all night to get everything done. I had some drywall that needed to be replaced and he fixed it very professionally. He also fixed some trim around an exterior door plus he did some patching of the interior walls and a lot of touch up painting. Everything was done done very professional and at a reasonable cost. I would definitely hire Austin again in the future if I needed a handyman.

I decided to change my review to a five star. First, 20/20 listen to my ideas and was able to preform. Second, once I saw their work ethics I was able to trust Austin and his wife advice on helping me with this project exterior decorations. Third, I just love their professionalism so they will be doing my house in phases I am excited and you can bet the price is great 20/20 Construction!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are flexible but firm. We have something for every budget, but will give very detailed consultation and estimate at absolutely no charge. We will ask that all decision makers be present at the consultation.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most frequently business is done by e-mail. An specialist will be assigned to your case to walk you through the process step by step. We work all days and at many random hours as customers seem to have very busy schedules that limit when they can have consultations be convenient.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 45+ years of experience in the home remodeling business.
