Shala, Char and the entire Erickson Team are the most exceptional vendor team out there. To brighten up our venue, we wanted bright beautiful, fresh flowers from a local small business in the incredible town of Astoria. Shala worked with me, and my persistent mother, to make our dreams come true and go above and beyond anything we could've phathomed. They went the extra mile in every detail to make our day special and every conversation and meeting we had was a delight and collaborative. I truly could never thank them enough, what they created truly blew me away. It was an absolute joy to work with them, and for any floral needs I EVER need, I will be going to them. As a bonus they have tons of incredible local goodies in their shop and we never leave empty handed. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you book us for planning as well as florals we offer 10% off florals.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an initial meeting to get an idea of what is needed. Then pay deposit to secure your date and schedule a longer consult to go through all the information you already have and what we still need to straighten out.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
At the very least we recommend a day-of coordinator. Your friends or family might volunteer but they are there to enjoy your day with you, not work.
