Know the difference between a customer and a client?
A customer is simply someone who spends money to purchase a product or service from you. A client is someone who is being looked over, helped, guided and protected. A client trusts you as an expert and appreciates your guidance.
Attorneys have clients. Retail stores at the mall and restaurants have customers.

Over the last 30 years, we've had the pleasure of making portraits for thousands of individuals, couples, families, brides and business clients. I can talk about me all you want, but it really doesn't matter unless it relates directly to you. You want to know how everything relates to YOU. We're on the same page, you and I. Bear with me.
I'm a retired banker who took up professional photography in 1985. After owning 2 portrait studio's, I opened Classy Image in 1996. Besides being a photographer, I'm a husband, father and grandfather. I'll understand you in a real way. I'm a real husband, father and grandpa. People can relate and I can relate to them. You, my client, are what it's always all about.
My attention to detail and willingness to work one-on-one with you will create a product you are proud to own. Nothing cheap, cookie-cutter or rubber stamped. Nothing chain-store at all. It will be for you, and your family. And special people in your life.
Whether you've reached a milestone, are celebrating a wedding or special event, want to provide a wonderful gift, or you're soliciting a potential customer, meaningful portraits are what you want, and need. They're important because you're important. You're personal, and so is your portrait.
I especially enjoy making beautiful portraits of women of all ages: Children and High School Seniors to 100th birthday portraits. I enjoy making portraits for all of them. And their families. And their wedding. And romantic side. And people who work for a living. At work. Or busy with their hobbies. As your portrait photographer, I'll capture your character. Smile or pensive stare, you'll be yourself. People will experience the exceptional person you are. I can do that because I'll know and understand you. I'll have put myself in a position to capture the authentic YOU.
My clients are active participants in each session or wedding. They'll experience superb service, and they'll be counseled and guided.
I enjoy not being restricted to a studio any longer. Everyone is more relaxed and natural in their chosen environment, indoors or out. You will be too. I'll travel pretty far for a portrait session or wedding, so if you live on the Oregon coast, don't be afraid to call. I meet with potential clients wherever convenient.
I love being creative and offering clients products and services that they have not seen before, but are very excited about.
