- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had friends getting married and they wanted a simple quick ceremony so they were thinking about having me marry them. I got excited about the idea because I loved the idea of marrying my friends. Well I took the opportunity and went out on a limb and started talking to people and realized that there are so many people that could use someone with an open mind and heart to perform there ceremony. Which brought me to Thumbtack. Hope to hear from you so we can discuss your ceremony.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I personalize the ceremony to fit their personalities and by making sure everything is ready the day of and explain the process. I help them with the rehearsal process if they don't have a wedding planner to explain the order of walking the isle.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Talk to each person and see if they are a fit for you. You want someone that you feel comfortable with to be preforming your ceremony. Don't just hire someone because they are the cheapest or because there profile looks great. You want someone that is about you and your partner and it will show by talking to them.
