Introduction

All the chemicals we use are Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) approved. I use them in my own home around my own children and pets. They are pH balanced, organic, and biodegradable. We use the best equipment from Mytee. We do not use a generator or fossil fuels to run our equipment. Our service can be closed door if needed or desired. This means we can stage our equipment into your garage or inside your home. The equipment does not create air pollution, but it does cause noise pollution.

Billy the owner came out to do a few room at my place. He actually showed up right when he said that he would. We chatted a bit about what I was hoping for. He was super nice, very friendly and informative about what would happen. He set up everything pretty quick and was knocking it out, so I went out to run and errand. Got back about 1hr 20mins laterish, and my dude was almost done knocked out super fast way impressed. When he finished he said not to walk on it to much for the next hr, hr½. It was almost totally dry after 30mins when I checked it. Freaking awesome service. Never trying to rent a stupid rug doc again when this dude can work that kinda magic. He's already set up to swing in again in about 6 month to keep may place feeling fresh and clean, frecking loving it. Yo, Billy thank my appreciate you my dude.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most of the time I will recommend a pre-inspection. This is a walk through of the space. That way I can give a more accurate quote and also show the customer some of the stain areas that need to be targeted. Then of agreeable the appointment for service and be confirmed and the work completed. We offer three different cleaning packages. Our website the carpet defender.com/about explains the process.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My wife convinced me to get carpet. After having the carpet installed, I then started to worry about my carpet staying clean. My dogs and kids were always challenging this boundary. I quickly had to find an organic, safe method for cleaning my carpet. My kids would tease me, calling me the carpet defender. Superheroes are prevalent in our house. I started to enjoy carpet cleaning and, because of that, decided to enter the business professionally.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with customers who also have pets and children like us. We have unique equipment for the industry which allows a closed-door service if the customer is interested. This eliminates the need of a door guard. Door guards are to keep heat and air conditioning in and pests and cold air out.
