Introduction: Design is personal and needs to be individualized. I would love to work with you on your designs for a kitchen, baths, bedroom, living room or other. This includes furniture layout, fabric choices and color pallets making the space functional and your own. If you are a visual person, I will create a 3-D design in color to help you visualize your design or layout. I am also your source for creating custom cushions, pillows and drapes. If you would like to learn how to sew, cook or bake, I would be glad to work with you on that. My classes are one on one in my home. If you have any questions or would like to discuss a possibility for a project, please feel free to contact me.

Chris Dickman was wonderful to work with throughout my Kitchen Remodel project. I had a few ideas of my own and Chris did an amazing job of weaving those ideas into the project design. From cabinet layout to lighting and color choices, her knowledge and expertise made my kitchen a fun, family friendly place to be.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Leasons are generally $25.00 for a 90 minute session.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with my new clients and develop a plan based on their reasons for taking classes. From there we make our game plan and discuss materials needed for projects. For sewing projects I like to meet my clients at the fabric store to discuss fibers and fabrics so they can choose wisely. It's so much fun!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Clothing, Textiles and Business and Home Economics Education, an associate degree in Interior Design with a concentration in Kitchen & Bath Design, and a Masters in Education. I taught high school for 18 years and worked in both Clothing Alterations downtown PDX and Interior Design, also downtown.
