Duncan is an excellent drum teacher, especially for grade-school and middle-school aged kids. My 11-year-old son thinks Duncan's great, and as learned a variety of rhythms/beats to prepare him for middle-school band as well as playing along with popular songs. Duncan has an easy, friendly style with kids, and jokes with them to get a smile and put them at ease. That said, he is a serious music teacher, and has my son repeat exercises until he can do them correctly. My son has learned an awful lot in the last year and a half, and really looks forward to his weekly drum lessons with Duncan.

Duncan has been teaching my 11 year old son to play drums for the past year. He is an excellent drum teacher - extremely talented, a patient teacher and makes the class enjoyable for my son too. His drum skills have improved immensely this past year. I highly recommend Duncan to anyone interested in trying out the drums for the first time, or for someone that may already have experience.

By request. Because I studied with the Greats, other Drummers wanted to know what I learned. They knew I could show them what I had learned easily.
