We decided to use Julie and her team at Priority One to rent our mothers home. They were very easy to work with. Their tenant selection process must work, as the home is being well cared for and the tenants are very happy living there.

Julie and her crew managed a house we owned in Clackamas, Oregon for over seven years. We trusted her from the start because we lived in the desert SW and I actually will miss speaking to her when I called the office. We sold the property in May and that ended our relationship. Julie does a great job screening tenants and re-renting when one leaves. She has a good network of handymen and repair people who charge reasonable rates when things need repair or replacement. She is very responsive when I have a question. She could be a bit more pro-active regarding maintenance and repair issues - I recently paid $1500 to have blackberry bushes removed as they had completely taken over my lot, and I did not hear about the problem until I got a complaint from the Oregon City police. Overall, I am very happy with Priority One and would highly recommend them

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. At least 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years and renewing license every 2 years. Besides the 30 hours we are members of NARPM and adhere to a strict code of ethics.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was previously in Retail Management and successful however I became tired of the hours through weekends and holidays. I decided to get my Property Management license and take over managing some properties for family as I was raising my young children. The business just grew from there over the years.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say just to ask a lot of questions. I want my clients to feel comfortable and secure in their decision to hire us to manage their property.
