Introduction: Guitars and bass are my specialty. I have been playing for 6 years and have held lessons for 2 years. My friends will tell you I am the best person to go to when it comes to making up a bass riff on the spot or creating a kick butt solo. I'm not shy, nor should you be. Playing guitar is what I'm willing to teach you, and it's pretty easy to learn. Forget guitar tabs! I can teach you how to read sheet music like it was a children's novel. My name is Emily. I'm 17 and I am a senior in high school. I know what it's like to be the new kid just learning. Hey, if you mess up, that only makes you smarter. I've messed up more times than I can remember, but I'm now the bass guitarist for my pep band, marching band, and Kill The Messenger (my band). I guess you can say I've mastered the bass and guitar extremely fast, and I can help you get started and maybe make you the next Jimi Hendricks. I can play at his level and beyond. I'm free on the weekends and anywhere in between, I would just need a heads up. I don't think it's right to have an hourly rate. If you feel like I deserve more than $20 a session, feel free to do whatever you feel is right.
