Lani saved our dog. We rescued Arya when she was a puppy and from the beginning she was different than any dog I'd ever owned.
She has always been very nervous which has caused issues with aggression. Her behavior had become so problematic that we were considering finding a new home for her--not easy with a large, aggressive dog. We decided to try to find a trainer instead and we found Lani.
Lani has a very calming energy that I believe put our dog at ease. She worked with Arya and taught our family some strategies of how to respond to aggressive behavior. Arya has received boarding and training which has greatly improved her behavior. In addition, Lani has two amazing dogs that have become Arya's first dog-friends.
I very highly recommend Lani. She is insightful, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and affordable. Thank you so much, Lani!!

I highly recommend Lanimal Training! Lani helped me address my dog's specific needs and problem areas, and really listened to what I wanted to get out of the training session. She came extremely prepared to our first meeting, with notes and other training supplies catered specifically to my dog's needs. Her pricing is extremely fair, and I really appreciated her approach of offering only the services I needed -- no more or no less. She is very friendly, easy to work with, and made both me and my dog feel at ease. Both during and after the training session, she continued to offer great tips for things I could practice with my dog. We look forward to working with her again soon!

I contacted Lani after getting her quote for training and boarding my newly adopted 1.5 year old dog. Her rates are very reasonable and her training schedule is flexible, depending on what you need/want. She asked me what I needed him to learn/correct and also the commands words I wanted him to know - which was great as not everyone uses the same commands. I needed help with his food/toy/treat aggression with other dogs, crate training, potty training and basic commands. She also encourages pet parent participation so I was able to go visit/work with her and my pup, seeing the progress he made. I'm very happy with the results in my dog - he's doing great and he loves to go visit Lani and her family -including her 2 incredibly sweet and helpful dogs - when I need to board him overnight (more like doggie sleepover). I highly recommend her dog training and boarding services!

I have only had one hour session with Lani,but seeing how comfortable I and my dog was with her, I do plan on more.
Lani was well prepared for my questions and even left me with some instructions on how to communicate better with my dog.
