Thumbtack sent an evaluation long before this quilt was made. This quilt more than I imagined and far beyond my expectations. It's. worthy enough to display on the wall, but far better on a bed or a wrap on a cool night. Instead of lining a bunch of Tee Shirts in a row, they were thoughtfully placed and spaced as if each shirt is telling a story. The dark blue, white, and grey backround along with the stitching makes this quilt magnificent, better seen in person and a picture doesn't do it justice. I decided to let Kaye do her "artist's rendition," which was the right thing to do. After searching through quilt websites, two pictures from Kaye caught my attention. No regrets here.

My Aunt passed away in August of 2021. She and my mother were extremely close and my mom took it very hard. We all did. I wanted something that my mom could have that would help her feel close to my Aunt. I sent Kelli bags of my Aunt's favorite clothing that she loved and wore often. Kelli made a beautiful quilt out of all my Aunt's shirts and blouses. My mom was brought to tears when she opened it up on Christmas Day. It was such an emotional time for all of us that Christmas morning! My mom keeps it on her bed at all times, and she was so happy when she realized, what the quilt was made of! I am grateful to Kelli for putting so much time into making such a beautiful piece for us. This is a keepsake that will now go down generations in our family. Kelli constantly kept me in the loop. She was quick to ask my opinion before doing something, she asked what colors I wanted, what designs, etc. It was a great pleasure working with Kelli and I cannot wait to have another one made for myself this time!❤️ Here is a photo of my beautiful mama with her beautiful quilt!!
