Jeff is an excellent martial arts teacher. He takes a concept, like punching or rapier and shows it many ways. He takes a hands on approach and helps students hold the sword. During the last rapier class Jeff moved a little quickly through some material that was very new to some other folks. If he could slow down on explaining some rapier drills, that might be good. But, Jeff makes a difference. I use what I learn in class about martial arts, spatial awareness, and strategy during my day. I enjoy going to Academia Duellatoria

Head instructor is Fabiano Scherner, multiple time world champion Brasilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. Awesome team, has a large number of blue, purple, brown and black belts that left other gyms to train there. Everyone super friendly and really into helping out beginners. Fun place to workout. Also it is in the same building as a weight lifting gym that gives a huge discount
Sensei Paul Keller is truly an excellent teacher of the Martial Arts! He is extremely patient and clear in his instruction, and he sets a bar for every student that allows them to achieve their best! My husband and son are also students at his dojo, and I would highly recommend him and his school to anyone interested in learning karate!
We were looking for a dojo for our daughter to continue her karate training when I found Seishinkan Karate On Main. Much to my surprise Sensei Ellis answered the phone and spent time to talk with me about his dojo, asked about our daughter, and set up an appointment right away for us to come in and meet. After our meeting we signed up for a 2 month trial, our daughter knew after the first week she wanted to join. Sensei Ellis goes out of his way to acknowledge each student each day they come in to train. It is obvious to me that Sensei Ellis not only enjoys what he is shares with his students, he enjoys his students.
I've been attending classes at NWFA for many years, and I find myself constantly learning new things. All the people I've had a chance to train with are super friendly, and the instructors are very helpful. Staying motivated has rarely been a problem, and with all the different systems offered there, I feel like I will never run out of things to learn.
