- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flat rate flexible pricing is based on time, work involved, or an agreed upon rate. Visits and walks are discounted for first responders and neighbors within walking distance. No holiday fees for teachers during Spring Break. First responders and military only pay holiday fees during winter holidays.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person and spend time with animals prior to care so that they are comfortable with me. I want to know all that I can about the pets in my care including likes and dislikes, known commands, and the things that help them feel safe and loved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly checking out what other providers are doing, as well as learning all that I can about animal behavior, pet safety, body language, nutrition, first aid, training, and current legislation concerning animals. I also feel that it is important to keep an open mind, learn new things, and pass that knowledge along to others.
