Brian took some amazing photos of me and our surroundings in Iceland, August 2019. We had incredible photoshoots together and the photos represent the feeling of the places we visited incredibly well. What I really love about his work is his professionalism. He had high quality equipment and carried that around (even when going for a long day hike up in the mountains). You can tell that he has taken many photos over the years and really knows which settings to select for a perfect shot. He was also very willing to look at things from a completely different perspective; that is: lying down on the floor to get a really low-angle shot or flying his drone high up in the sky to get a birds-eye view. In addition, Brian had a clear idea and perception of what he wants to have in his photos but at the same time he was always open for my suggestions, ideas and concepts. And his editing! His colours are deep, touching and full of atmosphere. All this makes his photography very unique and in touch with his customers and surroundings. He embraces the feeling of a place and/or a person and captures that with his camera. Last but not least, he is a nice, open-minded person and spending time with him (not only while he was taking pictures of me) was lovely and filled with lots of interesting conversations. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For wedding videos, I have a base rate of $1200 that covers up to 3 hours, and after that it’s $400 per additional hour. I do 5-7 minute cinematic highlight films, as well as full edited ceremony film, both included in the package, with complementary drone shots if requested (depending on legality of location and weather conditions)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from film school at Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts, though really most of the learning comes through doing photography and videography a LOT, and with true passion and excitement to learn and grow.
