Michael and his team helped us repair some damage to interior door frames caused by a power wheelchair. They showed up when they said they would, were friendly, professional, did excellent work in record time, cleaned up after themselves, and charged a fair price. I recommend them without hesitation and will definitely hire again.

In a world where "contractors" has become a swear word, it's wonderful to have found a great one for fixing various issues noted on the inspection for my newly-purchased home. I've always rented, so I never had to worry about home repairs. I was actually having trouble sleeping, since I was so anxiety-ridden about trying to find a reputable handyman. "Handyman" is a paltry word to describe Michael Thornton's multitude of talents. He could be more appropriately called a renaissance man, as his knowledge and expertise seem to have no bounds in the area of home repairs and maintenance and beyond. And to topple the nightmare stereotype of many contractors, Michael is also very good about honoring appointments and communicating with customers and getting the job done quickly. He was also excellent about showing me other problems which would need to be addressed now and in the future and explaining why they needed to be fixed. He even threw in some small peripheral jobs for free. Big thank you to Michael and crew!!

Outstanding! Five stars for sure! Michael (LoneStar Construction & Handyman Services) responded to a rather small drywall patch job at a beach house that we rent out on Airbnb. We only had a small window between guests to complete the repairs and then replace the flooring. Michael and his partner were scheduled to arrive at 8 am and actually arrived a little early. It was the first time I had met Michael in person and he provided a great first impression. . . energetic and ready to work. They got the job done quickly, it looked great, and the cost was very reasonable compared to the other bids I received. I've dealt with a lot of contractors and Michael is very intelligent, knowledgeable, and experienced. We currently have two rentals and our own home. Michael impressed me so much that he will be top of the list for any maintenance, repairs, or renovations that we need completed in the future. I will be using him for a water heater replacement and am awaiting a bid on a chain-link fence job.
