FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straightforward and based on the scope of work — things like transaction volume, payroll, and whether any cleanup is needed. Most clients are on a flat monthly rate so there are no surprises. If your books are behind, there may be a one-time cleanup cost to get everything accurate before moving into ongoing work. I always outline pricing upfront so you know exactly what to expect.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process begins with an initial consultation to understand your current bookkeeping status, business needs, and goals. I then review your existing records and systems to identify any gaps or inconsistencies. If cleanup or catch-up work is required, I address that first to establish accurate financials. From there, I implement a consistent monthly process to ensure your books remain organized, up to date, and reliable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started with a strong interest in accounting early on and was recognized as an accounting student of the year. From there, most of my training has come from real-world experience — building and running businesses, managing my own books and taxes, and cleaning up and improving accounting systems for other companies. I’ve worked with everything from small startups to multi-million dollar operations, so I understand both the technical side and what business owners actually need day to day.
