John replied to a job request that we did not end up doing, but we liked him so much that we asked him to give us a quote for another project. He worked with our budget. He was always on time and very communicative. He was great at executing my directions but also gave his professional opinion when needed. We were really happy with our pergola and I would definitely hire him again.

Robert did some demolition work on our concrete patio and laminate floors. It was not easy work and he was always on time and his original bids didn't change. He also made a new cedar front staircase for us which looks great! Highly recommended!

Replaced front and back deck railings. Clarke gave a very reasonable bid, he did the work on schedule and kept in communication with us throughout the process. The railings are well designed, attractive and sturdy. Highly recommended.

It's so nice to see there are reliable and professional people in this world. John not only showed up on time and did a fantastic job but he went above and beyond what I expected. All of that deserves a 5 star review however he also took the time to talk through the job with me and not just talk at me. I'd select 10 stars if I could.

I had a dream of creating a built-in bookcase on a wall where a fireplace had once been and wrapping it around a kitchen doorway. Enoch was on time for the estimate (and the estimate was very quick too) and he was the only contractor who seemed to really listen to what I was asking. He understood my vision and helped me to realize it. Enoch returned telephone calls and was very patient with the process. Once the project started, it only took him a few days to complete it. He and his team are dedicated and trustworthy. And now I have the most beautiful built-in bookcase that looks like it is a part of the house. The price was high, but you get what you pay for and it has been worth every penny. Totally recommending High Crest.

What’s for dinner? That age old question, routinely pops into my head within the first 20 minutes of staring a new day. Typically somewhere between wash, rinse and repeat. (Personal confession: I don’t repeat.) After 13 years with the TLB (the Tall Leggy Blonde for those new to my Gonzo musings) we’ve settled into some set roles and responsibilities. Highlights of mine include mowing the lawn, sleeping in the wet spot and preparing the majority of our meals. I don’t mind (the meals) as I enjoy the idea of cooking. What I didn’t enjoy was being segregated into a small box like 1970’s suck ass kitchen, with old appliances, no ambiance and an presumed history of many casserole / hamburger helper styled meal. Suffocating. Boring. Small. That was my kitchen; not to be confused as a reference to my past sexual experiences. Sure, there had always been grand plans. Tear down these walls, Mr. Boyardee! It was often just wishful thinking; ideas that pop into ones head while preparing the night’s meal in the solitary confinement of our drab kitchen. That has changed. The walls are down. What was once ugly, cramped and dated, has been transformed into something amazing. We owe Paul and Cathedral Construction a huge debt of gratitude for helping us achieve our perfect kitchen. We truly couldn’t be happier with the final result. Paul was able to take our wants and make them a reality. From the custom cabinets, the subway tile, gas range and open concept, it was better than we could possibly image. I even have my own cherry wood bar (which I still require coasters for)! Since the remodel, the quality and frequency of great meals has significantly increased. If you are looking for an honest, highly skilled contractor, contact Paul at Cathedral Construction.

James and his team spent 4 hours in my condo this week helping me get a variety of projects done, some quite tricky, involving some valuable art work. They worked efficiently and effectively and the place looks great! I'm very happy with his work and the positive spirit exhibited by the team.

Lloyd and his crew do amazing job! He did two bathroom remodels and installed hardwood floors in my living/dining room. He finished on time and more importantly, on budget. I highly recommend them!
