We provide commercial and residential junk removal, landscape maintenance, and snow removal. Pfits Services LLC is a locally owned and operated business with each client treated as our only client. I started in lawn care while I was 17. I turned it into my high school senior project, and I have loved working in this field ever since. Eventually, I decided to start a business out of something I love doing as well as adding more services. My passion means you will always be happy with our service.

Provided an original estimate that was fair based on a photo. I know others have dinged the pro because of changing estimates. I mean, that's why it's called an ESTIMATE. Could be, maybe, should be...? Anyway, I was prepared for a potential increase and as long as it wasn't a blatant ripoff, I was okay to proceed regardless. However I did call out a concern about how far away they are. He said it wasn't an issue. They arrived on time. The quote ended up $20 more, no big deal. As someone who's used 1-800-GOT-JUNK and others I saw the issue right away. Pfits has a trailer they use and it's not that big. It's no bigger than an F350's bed, ish. In my case I had a lot of breakdown capable cardboard, where it all would have fit perfectly if they took the time to break the boxes down. They didn't. They didn't have to, but I call it out so you understand. Others will break the boxes down to save room even though they have larger trucks, though they charge more (this is the key. Price) At the end they took about 95% of the stuff and said they'd come back "...in about 45 minutes" to get the rest for an extra charge. They never came back. Around 2-ish hours later they left a message on Thumbtack that it was farther to the dump and other jobs than they'd anticipated (not good planning/logistics) but could come back at the end of the week. By this point the local dump bin was empty and I just dropped it on my own. It wasn't a lot and it wasn't worth waiting 4 days for. My perspective: it's certainly hard to estimate off a photo and you see it in person and you're thrown by it. SO they plan to do multiple trips but because of the logistics challenges, there's a risk there. Also if they underestimate volume somehow even in person, you run into potential challenges. But they had an entire extra bed that could have taken the rest in one trip with no issue, so it felt like they were possibly rushing between appointments. I give 5 stars because they did show on time, on the day, they did get the majority of it and they were professional in that interaction.

I ended up paying about three times the quoted amount. Took more loads than I thought. In the future, I need to have an on-site bid.

hi Florence thank you for the review. yes it was more then the online quote. it's always best to do an on-site quote which is why I made sure to let you know before I started that it was going to be higher. it can be confusing online because the quote you get is off how much you say is there to remove so if there is more there then what you guess it's going to be higher. it was a pleasure working for you and I hope to see you again.
