Introduction: Steph’s yoga practice began as a compliment to her full-time schedule of teaching indoor cycling and boot camp classes. Her practice has carried on since 2008 and she continues to learn the benefits of consistently showing up to her mat. Today, her practice keeps her grounded, humbled and courageous. Steph teaches yoga because she wants everyone to experience the gift that her practice has given her: SELF-CARE. Steph hopes to share the benefits of yoga in order to co-create a growing and supportive community that is inclusive and caring. Her gentle (yet fierce!) approach invites all beings to move with the natural rhythm of their body and find strength by knocking down mental limitations in order to find deeper alignment. Steph’s philosophy: Yoga is ALWAYS a good idea! Steph’s class is an uplifting journey into the magic of yoga. You'll move with your breath and the beats, you'll sweat and you'll go deep in an inspiring practice that nourishes the soul and invigorates the body building flexibility, strength and ultimately, inner stillness. Enjoy slowing down, moving mindfully but powerfully, and breathing deeply. Open to all levels.

I am extremely thankful to have had the opportunity to train with Steph. She performed extremely well in the areas of Yoga knowledge, breaking down complex topics into simple ones as well as professionalism. She also took extreme care to replace certain stretches for more comfortable ones in order to help me perform efficiently during the session without the risk of injury. I am a Forestry student with Cerebral Palsy who spends a lot of his time sitting. Before seeing her, the accumulated amount of daily sitting put a lot of stress on my lower extremities and even made some of them tight to the point where getting up and walking again felt challenging. Thankfully, she taught me a few stretches that loosened my lower extremities and helped them to perform much more efficiently after sitting for long periods of time than before. One aspect about her that made her stand out from other coaches I have seen in the past are the pleasant conversations I had with her. 1If you plan on seeing her, just know that she'll talk to you about almost anything(with some limitations) If you've had a hard day, want to get something off your chest or just need someone to listen, do not hesitate to open up to her. Steph instructed an excellent private class for our bachelorette weekend in Waldport. She accommodated for all skill levels that made for a rejuvenating morning after a long night ;). I would definitely recommend Steph for all your yoga needs.

I love working with Steph! Before Steph, I was frustrated and overwhelmed with eating healthy and working out. She has streamlined it for how it works best for me, and helping me see results of feeling better and my body image. She's the best and love her yoga classes, especially the tunes. Everyone can do yoga. No need to be superflexible. I'm not and it's helping to become more flexible, but everyone is on their own journey and she's here to encourage you every step of the way :)

Steph is an incredible yoga instructor! She has helped my practice grow so much in both strength and form. Throughout the class, her wise words are inspirational and heartfelt. I highly recommend practicing with Steph!
