What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have three prices available to client. The basic and most affordable is $125.00 for a hour shoot and purchase the prints on line through my secure web page on Smugmug.
#2 Wedding packages, those are most complex because I can add a photographer, add getting ready shots, ceremony, reception all of this is options. I have a written contract for all of these options I can send you if you are interested.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with finding out what it is they are looking for, I like to have them send me some ideas of what they like and are interested in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I stay up to date with a on line professional digital photography school. All of my education was with film so it is nice to gather the information about digital.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to be a photographer when I was in high school, I went on to college and received my Associates degree in Media Arts with a photography back ground in 1999. I took all my pictures with 35 mm film in black and white and developed each roll my self. I learned to see the world through a lens. Today I shoot with a Digital SLR Nikon camera, I have learned to use the computer rather than dark room and learned to love the process of shooting with a digital
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with families for both wedding and portraits. I work with LGBTQ community. I have helped with head shots for individuals for or media.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I always say take a look at the web site, see if you enjoy the style. Most of all have fun.
