- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My consultation and labor fees are based small jobs. Some discounts will be made for larger or ongoing jobs. I also offer plant shopping services, as well as perennial and annual plant starts grown on my farm.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with an initial consultation to discuss dreams and ideas, then discuss possibilities and designs. I like customers to feel they are getting what they want while using my knowledge and skills to ensure a thriving garden. Most yard design jobs take 1-2 hours. I will discuss how to enact each step of the plan and offer tips and tricks through out the process. If you are unsure what you want, I always have lots of ideas. From there we can set a timeline and schedule the work and upkeep consultations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over the last 20 years I've worked in organic vegetable farming for 9 years, Worked in an extravagant estate garden for 2 years, installed dozens of of vegetable and flower gardens and food forests for friends and family, and I've been cultivating my own Permaculture homestead for 9 years. I've studied Permaculture systems and biodynamic agriculture along with traditional farming and flower cultivation.
